New Tenancy Rights Are Limiting Your Control
The Renters' Rights Bill (set to pass in late 2025/early 2026) will make life tougher for landlords. No-fault evictions (Section 21) are being abolished, rent rises will be restricted to once a year, fixed-term tenancies scrapped, and landlords won’t be able to request more than one month’s rent upfront.
